This little coffee shop is located inside a church called Cornerstone Fellowship in Livermore, CA (right next to Costco.) They serve Chromatic coffee, based out of San Jose, CA and offer various toasts served on house-made bread, always with fresh and local ingredients.

For drip that day they used Ethiopia Limu Gera, its light body and tropical flavors will bring your taste buds on a magical journey through the forests of the coffee farms themselves. This is perfect for an afternoon grab and go to get you through your afternoon. For espresso they stick to the classic Gamut which is a blend of their honey processed Brazilian, Ethiopian and Guatemalan beans. It has a rich chocolate and silky caramel flavor, perfect for an afternoon snuggle with your favorite espresso based drink.

They have a lot of options when it comes to coffee from classic cappuccinos and lattes to mochas and sweetened lattes. They also serve a specialty espresso-drink served in sparkling water, with just a touch of sweetness and a dollop of housemade whipped cream. If you’re looking for vegan or vegetarian options they have a lot of milk alternatives such as oat milk and almond milk as well as plenty of delicious toast options.  I got a cappuccino with oat milk to drink (I always opt for oat milk whenever it’s an option). To eat I got their “Holy Guacamole” made with an avocado mash, cilantro, watermelon radishes, topped with sprouts. Let me tell you I could eat that little slice of heaven every day and the cap was everything that you hope for in a cappuccino! Nice thick foam and creamy milk, with a beautiful Rosetta on top. My daughter got a kids cocoa with almond milk, which was sweet enough for her and didn’t seem overly sweet to me. It was rich, creamy and had a heart on the top. It was a great and delicious combo for a Sunday brunch.

They have a cute and modern atmosphere. With lots of tables and chairs to sit at, it is a great place to sit and study before or after your day at Las Positas College. Alternatively, if you’re still wanting a more relaxed and comfy vibe, they also have a few comfy chairs and a couch available for hanging out with some friends. The centerpiece is a community table that is great for groups or just for extra seating. During my visit, I had my children with me and there was plenty of space for us to sit. My daughter could wander around and play without feeling like she was being too loud or in anyone else’s space. Always a plus! It’s a great little spot for breakfast, brunch, or just to grab some coffee and a snack to go.
